METRO'S MERCEDES BENZ FLEET

These units were built by Mercedes Benz in Brazil and are powered by a 160 bhp diesel motor coupled to a 5 speed manual gearbox.

Metro uses its fleet of MBs in Launceston where they have put in years of reliable service. Despite having manual transmissions they are popular with the Launceston drivers. A number of units have been sold and have gone to the mainland.
